During our recent weekend at Somers House in Portsmouth, I was truly impressed by how it felt like a home away from home. The property was immaculately clean with comfy beds and bright, cozy furnishings, creating an inviting atmosphere for our family getaway. One of the highlights was the lovely garden; we enjoyed peaceful moments there after a day of exploring nearby attractions like the Mary Rose Museum. Our daughter particularly loved the pet-friendly aspect, as we brought along our small dog, who felt right at home too, thanks to the warm hospitality of the hosts. They really went above and beyond, even organizing for my son's forgotten work uniform to be mailed back to us, showing that they genuinely care about their guests. With convenient parking and a prime location just a few minutes from the waterfront, we couldn't have asked for a better base to explore Portsmouth. I left with a full heart and a desire to return-thank you, Somers House!
